I gained inspiration from common idioms used in Wild West-themed media to give the first product a unique spin.

The name and description of the second product capture a playful blend of fantasy and functionality.

I love trying any reviewing new makeup, and in 2023, I wrote seasonal makeup roundup columns, makeup reviews, and covered trending beauty for Sesi Magazine.

Most recently, I have written deep dive/explainer articles for SHEGLAM, highlighting how to navigate the range of products you’ll find on their site along with how to fit them into your routine.

Campaign Success Story – OXY Acne Care

PROBLEM:

In December of 2023, the OXY Acne Care team shared that their product had been removed from Target stores. Already in the midst of a complete rebrand, their team shared that part of their pitch to the Target team to return to shelves would rely on a solid social campaign.

STRATEGY:

The OXY Acne Care team shared the goal of their campaign was to resonate with the part of their demographic that carries majority of the purchasing power (moms of teens and Gen Z), so I pitched these video concepts to best represent their needs and their brand in their next meeting with the Target team, incorporating different pieces of their potential demographic and mockups of their product in Target. After gaining more info from the OXY team on their target demographic, I was able to craft/script these four concepts complete with hooks, relevant captions & hashtags, and any key focal points or RTB’s to include in the video itself.

RESULTS:

By August of 2024, their team shared that, after meeting with the Target team and doubling their following on TikTok with the above content strategy, they were successful in returning to Target shelves and saw their products in Target stores as soon as February of 2025.
